For most, this was a shorter working week than usual, and luckily weekend has come quick. Here are a few tips to enjoy it to the fullest.

Wild Souls. Symbolism in the Art of the Baltic States

From 21 November 2020 to 21 February 2021, the Latvian National Museum of Art in Riga (Jaņa Rozentāla laukums 1) will present the exhibition “Wild Souls. Symbolism in the Art of the Baltic States” – an ambitious joint project marking the centenary of all three Baltic States which has already enjoyed a very successful showing at the prestigious Musée d’Orsay in Paris.

After Orsay, the exhibition was showcased in Tallinn, Vilnius, and now has come to Rīga.

Latvian National Museum of Art asks that everyone comply with their precautionary measures found on LNMM's website.

BIO Market in Sigulda

Once a month, Sigulda's Zaļās Villas pagalms gives an  opportunity to purchase farmers and producers' goods straight from  their own hands (complying with hygiene and distancing, of course). Thus, you can avoid shopping  malls and purchase local goods - fruit and vegetables, bread, dairy, preserves, tea, sauces, honey, as well as pottery, dishes, candles and textiles.

Market takes place November 21 at 10:00 - 14:00.
