The night will pass without snowing, the sky will clear in many places. Slow southern, southeastern winds will blow.
The minimum air temperature in most of Latvia will be -9 C to -4 C, for places in eastern Vidzeme and Latgale up to -15 C to -10 C.
In some places in eastern Latvia, air temperature in the morning hours will be close to the November 29 cold record. The national November 29 minimum air temperature record was set in 2010 when Zosēni and Rēzekne had -18.9 degrees.
The sky will be overcast in the day. By noon, snowing will begin in Latgale, but by evening it will start snowing for a long time in Vidzeme and Zemgale. Over the course of the day, slow winds of variable direction will be replaced by gusty northeast, northerly winds.
Due to the expected snowfall, the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre has issued a yellow warning throughout the country, which will be in effect from Wednesday 13:00 through Thursday morning at 9:00, while in eastern Kurzeme and western Zemgale from Wednesday at 20:00 through Thursday 9:00 the orange alert is in effect, as the snow layer could increase by 10 to 12 centimeters.
Driving conditions will deteriorate significantly in the afternoon and evening; visibility will decrease, and roads will be snowy and slippery.

Precipitation is not expected in Riga at night and before noon, but it will start snowing a lot in the evening.
