In Britain, the international version of the film Blizzard of Souls, titled The Rifleman (104 mins) will be viewed in Leeds, Bristol, London, Glasgow, etc.

"The Rifleman is an honest yet frenzied interpretation of the veracity of warfare, with utterly breathtaking cinematography, reminiscent of the brilliance of Band of Brothers, inferior to only a few.", writes Guy Lambert, reviewer on The Upcoming

On July 25 and 26, the film will be shown at the 23rd Shanghai International Film Festival/SIFF programme in The Belt and Road Film Week. In Shanghai, the film will be called Blizzard of Souls. According to the festival's organizers, all tickets to these shows have been bought on the first day.

In December of 2019, the war-film broke Latvian box-office records. In February, it was shown with success on the European Film Market in Berlin.
