Within ten days, 46 witnesses have been interrogated in criminal proceedings, and more than 200 persons of interest have been interviewed. 21 searches have been carried out at several addresses and locations in Latvia.
Several persons are currently detained and arrested in connection with the criminal offence, the police said.
During the investigation of criminal proceedings, the police shall cooperate and exchange information with the Russian and Belarusian law enforcement authorities as well as Europol.
