Of 5,332 tests carried out in the past 24 hours, just 0.7% were positive.
The 14-day cumulative infection rate per 100,000 inhabitants continued its decline, from 72.3 Friday to 64.9 Saturday, with the epidemiological risk now rated "moderate" and heading towards the next threshold of 20 cases per 100,000 of population which is rated "low risk". The last time the morbidity rate was at the current level was in mid-October 2020.

There were two more deaths from Covid-19 confirmed Saturday, both of individuals aged 70-79 years. The death toll since the start of the pandemic now stands at 2,503.
Meanwhile Estonia reported 34 new coronavirus cases on Saturday and Lithuania 44 cases.
