Teachers to start getting Covid-19 jabs Monday

Next week, vaccination against Covid-19 will begin for school teachers and educators working in close contact with children, the Ministry of Education and Science (IZM) said April 9.

The IZM will make lists of teachers who need the vaccine immediately (those working onsite).

Minister of Health Daniels Pavļuts said at a press conference Friday that the Ministry of Health would work on lists submitted by IZM and would invite educators to vaccination.

Staff of educational establishments are invited to apply to the manavakcina.lv site or by calling 8989.
