Tasty exhibition in Ventspils
Ventspils Amatu māja (Skolas Street 3) opens an exhibition "Ventspils head-chef flavor parade". The exhibition will include photographs of various dishes of exquisite and unusual recipes from local chefs, cafes, restaurants. Both the end-result and the process are captured in photos and videos.
The exhibition opens August 14 at 10 AM and will be open until September 30.
Laser fight in Sigulda
Want to play laser-tag but have no company? Fear not - Sigulda hosts an open laser-tag game at Poligon #1 (Miera Street 15, Sigulda). All who sign up will be sorted into two teams for a two-hour game and try to beat opponents. Families welcome.
The game starts Sunday August 16, at 4 PM.

Rock film festival in Pērkoņi
August 14-16, in "Ievkalni", (Pērkoņi, Skujene parish), the sixth annual Rock Film Festival takes place. The program includes four films - both documentaries and feature films - as well as many parallel activities, bands, volleyball, quizzes and more. The films will mostly be in Latvian.
