How to register electric scooters
Owners of electric scooters have until March 31 to register their vehicles to be able to use them on the road. Only scooters with a speed of up to 25 kilometers per hour can be registered. What is the registration process for electric scooters? 

There are two ways to complete the registration process - in person at one of the Road Traffic Safety Directorate's (CSDD) centers, where registration will be carried out by the center's specialists, or remotely via the E-CSDD service portal, said CSDD spokesman Mārtiņš Mālmeisters. To access E-CSDD, you must have an authorization tool accepted in Latvia, such as eID, e-signature, Smart ID or an Internet bank.
