Founded in 1998 and based in Valka, Latvia, Pepi Rer produces the kids' soft-play toy brand IGLU and a wide range of industrial packaging, such as polyethylene foam and air bubble film products. Pepi Rer exports 90% of its sales to more than 40 countries. Following a recent investment, the private capital fund manager BaltCap and the investment company Draugiem Capital became the company's majority shareholders.
"Taking care of Pepi Rer's employees is my priority, so that we can keep growing the company and introduce new products. I believe that together we can show to the world that Latvia is an expert in manufacturing by bringing quality products to our customers worldwide," said Lesausks of his appointment.
Previously, Lesausks has worked at Microsoft, IBM and Ericsson. With 23 years of sales experience, he has also become a mentor and coach to several rapidly growing companies in the Baltics. He holds a master's degree in business management from the University of Latvia and has written two books on sales and business management.
Pepi Rer said it is planning to hire new employees in the fields of e-commerce, technology and production processes.
