The popular LAMPA "festival of conversation" has published its program for this year's event, which takes place in Cēsis June 28 and 29.

"This will be the richest in terms of content and number of events in LAMPA's history - more than 350 individual events over two days, with a total discussion and event duration of 700 hours," say the organizers.

The full program is available online and comes with a built-in planner to help you make sure you are in the right time at the right place to listen to the discussions you want to hear.

“LAMPA will get more courageous this year and invite others to do likewise. Let's find out what the boldness of Latvia's DNA is, how brave we really are and where we should make an effort to increase it,” said festival director Ieva Morica.

Discussions will cover a wide range of topics - mental health, regional development, mobility, taxation, security, contemporary art, media, biodiversity, technology and other issues.

Last year's event attracted an estimated 16,000 participants - roughly equivalent to the entire population of Cēsis itself. Entrance is free of charge. You can get a flavor of last year's event in the video below.
