The bridges over the Engure and Svēte rivers will also be rehabilitated. It is planned that construction works will continue until the end of the year.
Starting July 25, traffic on one section will be regulated by temporary traffic lights or traffic regulators and speed limits of 70 and 50 km/h. As the volume of work increases, there will be more reverse traffic sections and the road will need more time.
Four bus stop platforms, road signs, and road furniture will also be renewed.
The construction works are being carried out by SIA Via for a contract price of EUR 2.5 million (including VAT), with construction supervision by SIA Ceļu inženieri. The author of the construction design of the Svēte Bridge is JSC "Ceļuprojekts". The construction works are financed from the state budget.
